We love both our clear silicone and 14k gold filled backs. The clear silicone ones are great for people who have a lot of ear piercings and want the backing to be more discrete. They are also more comfortable to sleep in. The gold filled backs are a bit more secure and great for keeping earrings in day to day - working out, showering, etc.
