November 2014

• Hillary + Danielle dreamed up OSC, saving coins in their car while on a road trip that they would later use to hammer words into as a way to share stories.
• Made the first piece of OSC jewelry! A coin hand-stamped with a special word.

March 2015

• Launched OSC online out of their dorm rooms while in college in Charleston, SC.
• Sold the first OSC jewelry item to a customer!

September 2016

• Hired their very first employee!

October 2019

• Both moved back to their hometown CA, quit their day jobs and started running OSC full time!

January 2020

• Moved into their first real office.

April 2020

• Danielle created our top selling product (Beaded Huggers) in her garage, a month into the pandemic.

December 2021

• Grew from a team of three to a team of ten in two years!

October 2022

• Found a new OSC home, put the down payment on a permanent store and workshop in their hometown San Clemente, CA.
• Collected and responded to over 18,000 stories from our customers and community.
• Now have a team of 14 women working in our workshop and flagship store!

March 2024

• Launched Build Your Own Charm Jewlery.

February 2025

• Hit 100,000 orders
• Shipped out over 300,000 pieces of handcrafted pieces of jewelry across the country.
