Handwriting Engraving Guide

We love turning your words into something you can hold forever. To help us capture your handwriting just right, here’s what to keep in mind when submitting your design:

• Write your message on plain white paper using black ink or marker — the cleaner the contrast, the better the result.
• Take a clear, well-lit photo of your handwriting from directly above. Try to avoid shadows, filters, or angled photos.
• Upload file as a JPEG
• We’re able to engrave most handwriting styles and will stay true to the original as much as possible.
• Simple shapes (like hearts or stars) photograph beautifully — we can’t engrave complex drawings, fingerprints, or textured images.
• Your handwriting will be centered on the pendant, positioned between the drill hole and the lower edge.
  Keep in mind that more characters mean smaller text.
• If your phrase runs long, we’ll gently stack the words over multiple lines so your design fits perfectly.
